The Atlanta Green Meetings Council is a collection of Atlanta-based corporations, associations and government organizations that plan, place and promote meetings within the Atlanta and surrounding areas. These hospitality industry leaders, meeting planners and event specialists have a common goal -- to combine their collective resources to develop opportunities that not only benefit their respective businesses, but have less of an impact on the environment while having a greater impact on the economy.

Our Mission

The mission of the the Atlanta Green Meetings Council is to promote and produce enviromentally and socially responsible meetings and special events through advocacy, education, research and empowerment in the hospitality industry and global community.

Who We Are

The Travel and Tourism industry represents $1.2 trillion in revenue throughout the world. In the meetings and special events industry,$133.7 billion is spent in revenue. The AGMC represents close to $420 million in buying power -  that's huge - representing 2.9% piece of the pie! 

Council members are hospitality and meeting professionals representing an average of 15 years of service to the industry. Their volunteerism, professionalism, passion and leadership is commendable and honorable. It  is with pleasure to present the following members:
